In this deed, Alonzo C. Kinnison mortgaged 501 acres of the Bullitt's Lick tract to Abraham Field on 30 Sep 1842.

This indenture made and entered into this 30th day of September 1842 by in between Alonzo C Kinnison of the county of Bullitt and the state of Kentucky of the first part, and Abraham Field of the county and state aforesaid of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said, Alonzo C. Kinnison of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby, acknowledged, and other considerations herein after to be mentioned, has granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents does grant, bargain and sell unto the said Abraham Field, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land, situate, and being in the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky, known as the Bullitt Lick tract, the same on which the said Alonzo C. Kennison now lives containing 501 acres more or less, together with all of the appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the land here by conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Abraham Field, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Alonzo C. Kinnison for himself, his heirs, executors, and administrators, the aforesaid tract of land and appurtenances unto the said Abraham Field, his heirs and assigns against the claims of all and every person whatsoever, doth forever warrant, and defend by these presents.
Nevertheless, the above conveyance is upon the condition that whereas the said Alonzo C. Kinnison stands justly indebted to the said Abraham Field in the sum of $35.97 evidenced by note bearing date with this mortgage and due in 12 months from date with interest from date and also in the sum of $33.96 evidenced by note of the same date, due in 12 months from date with interest from date, and that whereas one, William Congrove has judgment and execution from the Bullitt Circuit Court against the respondent and others on Replevin Bond for about the sum of fifty-five or six dollars and some cents and commission besides, all of which the said Abraham Field is to pay, for the said Alonzo C. Kinnison, then if the said Alonzo C. Kinnison or any person for him shall well and truly pay to the said Abraham Field the amount of the said notes with interest together with the sum, whatever it may be, that the said Abraham Field shall have paid on said execution to said Congrove for the said Alonzo C. Kinnison in twelve months from the date of these presents, then this indenture is to cease and be of no effect; otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in law.
