Richard H. Field deeded a quarter acre tract to the trustees of school district 32 located where the road from the Belmont Furnace intersected the road from Shepherdsville to Elizabethtown. It was likely the site for the Culvert Springs School, shown below in this excerpt from a 1925 map.

The people of school district No.32 of Bullitt County desiring to erect a school house in said district and having released a .. upon land owned by me, conveyed to me by the Belmont & Nelson Iron Company, now for the purpose of securing to the trustees of said district the enjoyment of the said school house, I do hereby convey to them one-fourth of one acre of ground on the county road leading from Shepherdsville to Elizabethtown by way of James B. Cundiff, Orleans Lee and others, commencing at the intersection of the road leading from Belmont Furnace with said Shepherdsville Road and running with said two roads so as to include one-fourth of an acre.
This conveyance without warranty and with further understanding that if the house should at any time hereafter cease permanently to be used as a school house the said land to revert to me. Witness my hand this 20th September 1875. (signed) R. H. Field
