On 16 Sep 1847, Abraham Field signed a deed to A. C. Kinnison releasing any claim he had to the lands claimed by Kinnison on the Bullitt's Lick tract.

This indenture made the 16th day of September 1847 between Abraham Field of Bullitt County, Kentucky of one part and Alonzo C. Kinnison of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that whereas said Field purchased some of the lands of the old Bullitt's Lick tract claimed by said Kinnison, and had deeds made him for same, and said A. C. Kinnison has since paid me for any claim I had on said lands, and said Kinnison desiring a deed of release, I have, in consideration of the payment of the sums due me and the further sum of one dollar now paid me by said Kinnison, transferred and released and reconveyed back to said Kinnison all my right, title, claim and interest in and to any of the lands of the old Bullitt's Lick tract as now claimed and owned by said Kinnison, &c, and whatever claim I derived by mortgage from Kinnison or sale or deed to any of said lands said Bullitt's Lick tract of Christian's 1000 acres aforesaid, I do hereby release and reconvey back to said A. C. Kinnison to have and to hold against me and my heirs and those claiming under me by this deed of release and quit claim without warranty of title or responsibility on me in any event, whatever.
