Bullitt County History

Henry Crist to Richard Bodine - 1 Acre

It appears that Richard Bodine had been working a tan yard on land he may have rented from Henry Crist, for according to this deed, Crist sold him a acre of ground that included "Bodine's present tan yard where he now lives."

Richard may have been working the yard along with Martin Bodine, likely his brother, for Crist sold some adjoining land to Martin in 1829. Then Richard sold the acre of ground containing the yard to Martin Bodine in 1834.
