Near the end of his life, Henry Crist, along with his son Henry S. Crist, deeded 200 acres to his grandson, Patrick H. Jones, son of his daughter Eliza who had married John M. Jones. This land was located on the north side of Salt River and upstream from Pitt's Point.

This indenture made and entered into the 17th day of September 1844 between Henry Crist and Henry S. Crist of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part, and Patrick H. Jones of the county and state aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the natural love and affection that Henry Crist, one of the parties of the first part, bears towards his grandson, Patrick H. Jones of the second part, and for the natural love and affection that Henry S. Crist of the first part bears towards his nephew, Patrick H. Jones of the second part, and for the further consideration that the said Henry Crist did in the lifetime of his daughter Eliza Jones, wife of John M. Jones, and mother of the said Patrick H. Jones, promise to convey to her a tract of land on Salt River, Bullitt County, Kentucky on which John Graham Now lives; which promise was never performed.
Now in consideration of the promises, the parties of the first part have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said Patrick H. Jones, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of Bullitt, and on the north side of Salt River, and bounded as follows to-wit.
Beginning at John Graham's upper corner near the road, thence with Graham's line down the road, so far as will include the improvements and spring where William Welsh now lives to the foot of the knob, thence to Crist's back line leaving the rock cave hollow to the left, thence to W. C. Moore's and Kinnison in trust for Rebecca Jones' corner of the 1000 acre tract, thence with said Kennison's line or lines to the beginning, containing 200 acres together with all and singular the appurtenance thereunto belonging or in wise appertaining, to have and to hold the land hereby conveyed, with the appurtenances unto the said Patrick H. Jones, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said parties of the first part for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators the aforesaid tract of land and appurtenances unto the said Patrick H. Jones, his heirs or assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whatsoever claiming by through or under them the said Henry Crist and Henry S. Crist, but from no other persons.
In witness whereof the said Henry Crist and Henry S. Crist together with Rachel Crist and Mary Crist their wives who hereby relinquish their right of dower in and to the lands conveyed in this deed, hath hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date above written.
