On 25 Apr 1835, William Congrove and wife sold Shepherdsville lot #51 to Robert F. Samuels as shown below.

This indenture made this 25th day of April 1835 between William Congrove and Elizabeth his wife of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky of the one part and Robert F. Samuels of the same county and state of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said William Congrove and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $300 current money of the United States to them in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, alien, release, convey and confirm unto the said Robert F. Samuels a certain lot of ground being in and a part of the town of Shepherdsville and known and designated on the new plan of said town by the number 51.
To have and to hold the said lot number 51 with all the appurtenances thereto belonging unto him the said Robert F. Samuels, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns; and to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever.
And the said William Congrove and Elizabeth his wife covenant and agree to and with the said Robert F. Samuels that they will and their heirs shall warrant and forever defend the said lot and appurtenances unto him the said Robert F. Samuels and his heirs or assigns from themselves and their heirs and from the claim or claims of all and every person or persons claiming or to claim the same.
In testimony whereof the said William Congrove and Elizabeth his wife hereto set their hands and seals on the day and year before written. (signed by grantors)
