In this deed, Charles Henry Warfield, son of Walter and Sarah (Christian) Warfield, sold his part of the Bullitt's Lick tract to William Pope Jr., as shown below.

This indenture made this 10th day of May in the year 1818 between Charles Henry Warfield, late of Fayette County and state of Kentucky, but now residing in the city and state of New York, son of Sarah W. Warfield deceased, formerly Sarah W. Christian, sister of John Henry Christian deceased of the one part and William Pope Junior of Jefferson County and state aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said Charles Henry Warfield in right of his deceased mother is entitled as one of the heirs of his uncle John Henry Christian deceased to one undivided fifteenth part of his estate of which he died seized or entitled to of which a certain tract or parcel of land situated on Salt River in Bullitt County and state aforesaid including Bullitt's Lick or the lick tract being a military survey of one thousand acres with considerable surplus formed apart and the said Charles Henry Warfield for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred and thirty three dollars and thirty three cents has bargained and sold and by these presents do bargain and sell to the said William Pope Junior, his heirs and assigns, the said Charles one undivided fifteenth part of the said tract of land with the appurtenances including the said lick containing by estimation one thousand acres but supposed to include a considerable surplus.
To have and to hold the said undivided fifteenth part of the said tract or parcel of land be the same more or less with its appurtenances to the said William Pope Junior, his heirs and assigns to his and their only use and behoof forever. And the said Charles Henry Warfield covenants with the said William Pope Junior his heirs and assigns that he will warrant and forever defend the one undivided fifteenth part of said tract of land with the appurtenances against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatever.
