W. B. M. Brooks and George E. Wilcox deeded this school site on 12 Aug 1889 to the trustees of District 3 near Brooks Station. The deed is transcribed below.

This indenture made and entered into this 12th day of August 1889 by and between W. B. M. Brooks and wife and George E. Wilcox and wife, parties of the first part, and W. F. Smither, J. L. Holsclaw and John McCarty, trustees of Common School District No. 3, Bullitt County, Kentucky, parties of the second part, all of the county and state aforesaid.
Witnesseth that the parties of the first part hve sold to the parties of the second part and their successors in office a certain piece of land for the sums assessed against the undersigned by the trustees of School District No. 3 for the years 1888 nd 1889, and that to be assessed in the year 1890 for the purpose of building and furnishing school house to be erected on the land conveyed in this deed, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged. Said land is situated near Brooks Station and bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake 30 feet N 64° West of a point 42 1/2 poles S 2° W from old established corner stone, southwest corner of the William Sanders place, thence N 64° W 9 poles 12 3/4 links to a stake, thence S 2° W 4 poles to a stake in the line between G. E. Wilcox and W. B. M. Brooks now made a corner to said Wilcox and Brooks, thence S 8° E 14 poles 12 links to a stake in the northern limits of said county road, thence N 56° E 4 poles 1 link to a stake in northern limits of said county road, thence N 2° E 10 poles 20 links to the beginning containing about three-fourths acre land.
This conveyance is made by the parties of the first part to the said parties of the second part, and their successors in office for the purpose of having erected thereon a school house for the benefit of Common School District No. 3.
To have and to hold to the parties of the second part, trustees of District School No. 3 and their successors in office with covenant of general warranty.
