A. C. Kinnison to Isaac Moore - 2+ Acres

On 5 Sep 1843, A. C. Kinnison sold a small tract of about two acres of land on the west fork of Bullitt's Lick Run to Isaac Moore, as shown below.

This indenture made this fifth day of September in the year 1843 between Alonzo C. Kinnison and Elizabeth his wife of the county of Bullitt, state of Kentucky of the one part ,and Isaac Moore of the county and state of the same aforesaid of the other part.

Witnesseth that the said Alonzo C. Kinnison, for and in consideration of $10 in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents both grant, bargain and sell unto the said Isaac Moore, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land situated and being in the county of Bullitt on the west fork of Bullitt's Lick Run, containing by survey 2 acres, 2 roods, 24 rods out of which amount of land said Kennison had heretofore sold to said Moore 1 acre, and given his bond for the same, and bounded as follows, viz.

Beginning at a pine in William Christian's 1000 acre line on the west bank of the West Fork of Bullitt's Lick Run, thence with said line North 55° East 32 poles to a rock in said line (in a field), thence South 35° East 16 poles to a rock between a sweet gum, forked hickory sapling and sycamore on the north bank of said Run, thence South 55° West crossing said Run 21 poles to a hickory sapling and two pines at the foot of a hill, thence north 69 3/4° West 19 poles, 4 links to the beginning, together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.

To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with the appurtenances unto the said Isaac Moore, his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Alonzo C. Kinnison for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators the aforesaid tract of land and appurtenances unto the said Isaac Moore, his heirs or assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons wahtsoever doth and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.

In witness whereof the said Alonzo C. Kinnison and Elizabeth his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the land conveyed in this deed, have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date first above written. (signed) A. C. Kinnison, Elizabeth Kinnison
