Pic 10.005: Water treatment plant in Shepherdsville on Carpenter Street. Built in 1960's to replace one that was closer to the river and thus often flooded. Closed in 1990's when merged with Louisville Water Company.
Pic 10.006: Old Shepherdsville water treatment plant. Was too near Salt River (near railroad tracks) and often flooded, so replaced in 1960's by one on Carpenter Street.
