On 26 May 1881, Upton Wilson sold his allotted portion of his deceased brother, John Fry Wilson's land to their sister Emma T. Wilson, as shown in the deed below.

Know all men by these presents that Upton Wilson and C. D. Wilson, his wife of the county of Lafayette in the state of Missouri have this day for and in consideration of the sum of $1500 to them in hand paid by Emma T. Wilson of the county of Bullitt in the state of Kentucky, granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell onto the said Emma T. Wilson the following described, tracts or parcels of land situated in the county of Bullitt in the state of Kentucky, that is to say, all of my interest in and to the lands of John F. Wilson, deceased, being that part which has been laid off and allotted to me by the county surveyor of said Bullitt county, and the commissioners appointed for that purpose and which is described as follows, to wit.
Beginning at a stake in Shanklin's line and division corner to lot No. 2. Thence with Shanklin's line East 64 poles to a stake, division corner to lot No. 4. Thence North 87 1/2 poles to a stake in dividing line No. 1. Thence with the same West 64 poles to a stake, division corner to lot No. 2. Thence with the same South 87 1/2 poles to the beginning; 35 acres known as lot No. 3.
To have and to hold the premises hereby conveyed, with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise appertaining unto the said Emma T. Wilson, her heirs and assigns forever. The said Upton Wilson hereby covenanting to and with the said Emma T. Wilson, her heirs and assigns, for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators to warrant and defend the title to the premises hereby conveyed against the claim of every person whomsoever. In witness whereof they have hereunto subscribed their names and affixed their seals this 26th day of May 1881. (signed) Upton Wilson, C.D. Wilson.
