On 22 Jun 1805, Thomas Purcell deeded his personal possessions to his son Isaac Purcell after deeding his 400 acres to his son John Purcell.

Know all men by these presents that I Thomas Purcell of the County of Bullitt for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar current money of the United States of America to me in hand paid before the sealing and delivery hereof by Isaac Purcell of the same county and for and upon a further consideration of the natural love and affection which I bear the said Isaac Purcell my son, I have bargained and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Isaac Purcell and his heirs forever the several and following described articles of property (to-wit): four mares and two colts and their increase, eleven head of cattle, sixty head of hogs, three beds and furniture all the household and kitchen furniture belonging to me of whatever kind soever and also the farming utensils now on my plantation in the County of Bullitt to the said Isaac Purcell, his heirs and assigns to his and their only proper use, benefit and behoof forever.
And I the said Thomas Purcell do further covenant and agree to and with the said Isaac Purcell, his heirs and assigns that I will forever warrant and defend the aforesaid articles of property to the said Isaac Purcell, his heirs and assigns against myself and my heirs and against the claim or claims of all and every other person or persons whatsoever.
