I certify that by an election for trustees of the town of Shepherdsville this day held by me at the court house in the town of Shepherdsville agreeably to law that Lorenzo Hogland, Richard H. Field, Joseph F. Birkhead, Henry F. Kalfus, and Richard B. Simcoe were duly elected trustees of said town to serve for one year from this date 3rd. August 1846. Att. Noah C. Summers, clerk of the Board of Trustees of Shepherdsville.
State of Kentucky, Bullitt County, to-wit
I Noah C. Summers, clerk of the county court of said county, certify that the foregoing certificate of election of the trustees of Shepherdsville was returned to court 17 August 1846 and ordered to be recorded, and thereupon the same and this certificate are truly recorded in my office this 18 August 1846. Att. N. C. Summers, C.B.C.C.

Admission is free. The museum, as part of the Bullitt County Genealogical Society, is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization and is classified as a 509(a)2 public charity.
