As clerk of the trustees of the town of Shepherdsville I held an election according to law at the court house in Shepherdsville, Bullitt County, Kentucky on Monday the 4th of August 1845, and the following named persons were duly elected, to-wit: John S. Thixton, Henry F. Kalfus, Ambrose Ratliffe, Abraham Field, Nicholas Simmons, to serve for one year from the 4th August 1845. Witness my hand the date aforesaid. (signed) Noah C. Summers, Clerk to Board Trustees of the town of Shepherdsville.
State of Kentucky, Bullitt County, to-wit.
I Noah C. Summers, clerk of the County Court for said county, certify that the foregoing certificate of the election of trustees of Shepherdsville for 1845 was the 18th of August 1845 produced in open court of Bullitt County and ordered to be recorded, whereupon the same and this certificate are truly recorded in my said office this 20th of August 1845. Att. Noah C. Summers, C.B.C.C.
