We discovered in Deed Book G, page 297, the following election results. Unlike previous listings, this report only identifies those elected, and does not list the voters and how they voted.

Kentucky, Sct. To Noah C. Summers, Clerk Bullitt County Court.
This is to certify that I did on this day, being the first Monday in August 1831, cause an election to be held at the courthouse in Shepherdsville to elect 5 trustees for said town whose duties commenced on the said day of election, and will determine on the 1 Monday in August 1831, and that Matthew Wilson, John Holsclaw, Robert F. Samuels, Sydney S. Alexander and Frederic G. Alexander were elected as trustees for the town of Shepherdsville for the current year. (signed) T. W. Bullitt County Sct. I Henry F. Kalfus, a Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid, do certify that on the 13th day of August 1831 Matthew Wilson, John Holsclaw, Frederic G. Alexander, Sydney S. Alexander and Robert F. Samuels came personally before me and took the oath required by law as trustees of the town of Shepherdsville in the county aforesaid for one year ending on the first Monday in August 1832. The foregoing certificates of the election of trustees of the town of Shepherdsville and their having took the oath required by law was this day produced to me, David Blackstone Abernathy, deputy for Noah C.
