On 26 Apr 1837, Rufus K. Summers sold four Shepherdsville lots (17-19, 33) to William Arnold as shown below.

This indenture made and entered into this 26th day of April 1837 between Rufus K. Summers and Sidna Ann his wife of the one part and William Arnold of the second part, and all of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky.
Witnesseth that he said Rufus K. Summers and wife for and in consideration of the sum of $35 to them in hand paid before the sealing hereof, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained and sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell, release, alien, convey and confirm to the said William Arnold four certain lots or parcels of land and appurtenances to him the said Arnold containing half an acre each, more or less, situated, lying and being in the town of Shepherdsville, and part of said town, and known and numbered on the new plan of said town as follows, viz. No. 17, 18, 19 and 33.
To have and to hold said lots or parcels of land and appurtenances thereto belonging to the said William Arnold, and his executors and administrators forever against the claim of himself, heirs or executors or any and all other persons whatever claiming or to claim the same in through or by him.
In testimony whereof the said Rufus K. Summers and wife hereunto set their hands and seals the day and date above written.
