Poll of an election held at the house of Lewis Snapp in Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky on Monday 9th day of August 1841 for the purpose of electing five trustees for the said town of Mt. Washington for the year 1841 to serve as trustees for one year agreeably to Acts of Assembly, viz.
The candidates are listed below. The capital letter preceding each name is used to identify him in the voting chart below.

At an election held at the house of Lewis Snapp in the town of Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Kentucky on the 9th day of August 1841, John Q. A. Hall received 19 votes, Peyton Burditt received 18 votes, Joseph S. [Abell] received 19 votes, William Smith received 15 votes, F. Johnson received 16 votes and R. O. Webb received 5 votes. The first named persons J. Q. A. Hall, Peyton Burditt, Joseph S. Abel, William Smith and Frederic Johnson having received the highest or greater number of votes, are duly elected trustees of he said town of Mt. Washington for the time prescribed by Acts of Assembly. Given under my hand this 9th day of August 1841. (signed) Nat. P. Saunders, Clerk of Elections.
