The candidates are listed below. The capital letter preceding each name is used to identify him in the voting chart below.

We have attempted to duplicate the chart as it was written in the deed book. It appears that each voter announced his five choices, and the election clerk kept a running total as each voter's choices were listed.

I certify that the trustees of Mount Washington was duly elected on the second Monday in August at the house of Abraham Jobe, 1831. The following gentlemen were elected, to-wit: Austin Hall, Charles Hall, Enos Kerr, Abram Jobe and Thomas R. Calvert. Given under my hand this fifteenth day of August 1831. (signed) James A. Bullitt County Sct. I Nathaniel P. Saunders, a Justice of the Peace in and for the county aforesaid, do certify that Austin Hall, Charles Hall, Abraham Jobe, Thomas r. Calvert and Enos Kerr came personally before me and took the oath required by law as trustees of the town of Mt. Washington, county aforesaid, for the present year. State of Kentucky, Bullitt County Court Clerk's Office, October 17th 1831 The foregoing poll of the election of trustees of the town of Mount Washington in Bullitt County, Kentucky, and the certificate of said trustees having taken the oath of office was this day produced to me in said office for record by James A.
