On 12 Sep 1893, William T. Morrow, as assignee of W. B. M. Brooks, and as plaintiff in a circuit court suit in which Brooks was a defendant, sold a tract of Brooks' land to H. R. Sanders, as shown below. This appears to be a tract located west of the railroad tracks and north of the county road on the drawing shown below.

This indenture made this 9th day of September in the year 1895 between W. T. Morrow, assignee of W. B. M. Brooks &c by R. F. Hays, commissioner of the Bullitt circuit court of the one part and H. R. Sanders of the other part.
Witnesseth that whereas by a judgment of the Bullitt circuit court rendered at the March term 1893 of said Court in an action number 1122 pending in said Court, wherein W. T. Morrow assigned and others were plaintiffs and W. B. M. Brooks and others were defendants it was ordered and adjudged that the property hereinafter described be sold and R. F. Hays, special commissioner of said court, was directed to make the sale, which was accordingly made as directed in said judgment on the 12th day of June 1893, and H. R. Sanders became the purchaser of said property at his bid of $460 and said commissioner having made his report of said sale at the September term 1893 of said court, and the same having been confirmed at said term by a further order of said court, and the purchase money having been paid, said R. F. Hays was at the September term 1895 of said court appointed commissioner to convey said property for and on behalf of the said parties of the first part to the said H. R. Sanders.
Now for and in consideration of the premises aforesaid W. T. Morrow, assignee of W. B. M. Brooks &c, by said R. F. Hays, commissioner, do hereby sell and convey to the said H. R. Sanders, his heirs and assigns, the following described property situated and being in the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky, and bounded as follows, viz.
Lot No. 8. Beginning at a stone one of the original corners at (I) on plat, thence North 70° West 1 1/2 poles to a stone corner of the Robert's lot, thence thence North 2 3/4° East 28 1/3 poles to a stone, thence North 88 1/4° West 28 1/3 poles to Horine's corner, thence with Horine's line North 88 1/2° West 30 poles to a stone, thence North 2 1/2° East 53 poles to a stone in the original line, thence with said line South 88 1/4° East 61 1/3 poles to a stone one of the original corners, thence South 2 3/4° West 90 poles to the beginning, containing 23 acres.
To have and to hold all the right, title, interest and claim of the parties of the first part in and to said property to the said H. R. Sanders, his heirs and assigns forever. In witness whereof the said R. F. Hays as commissioner as aforesaid has affixed his signature the day and year first above written.
