On 22 May 1852, A. C. Kinnison and William Jones sold 640 acres of their holdings in the Bullitt's Lick tract to William P. Johnson, as shown below.

This indenture made this 22nd day of May in the year 1852 between A. C. Kinnison, William Jones and Ann Jones, his wife, all of the county of Bullitt and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part, and William P Johnson of the Commonwealth aforesaid of the other part.
Witnesseth that the said A. C. Kinnison, William Jones and Ann Jones, his wife for and in consideration of the sum of $1275 of which sum $500 is paid in hand, the balance secured by notes as follows. The first for $200 and due the 10th day of March 1854; the third for $200 and due the 10th day of March 1855; the fourth for $275 due the 10th day of March 1856, the receipt of the $500 and the said notes is hereby acknowledged, granted, bargained, and sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said William P. Johnson, his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land, situate and being in the county of Bullitt on the waters of Bullitt's Lick Run, waters of Salt River and bounded as follows, to wit.
Beginning at a pile of stones where a large oak stood and at the foot of a knob and said to be one of the corner trees of the northwest corner of William Christian's 1000 acre tract, thence with the line of said 1000 acres South 40° 6' (for 39°) 351 poles to three white oaks on the west side of the Shepherdsville and Pitt's Point road, thence North 67° 30' East 139 1/2 poles with Froman's line to two sycamores and ash on the west side of Bullitt's Lick Run, and corner to the lands of William Congrove dec'd, thence with his lines as follows: North 77° West 10 poles to two white oaks on a small ridge, thence South 85° West 58 1/2 poles to a pine bush and hickory and white oak, thence North 10° East 188 poles to a stone on the west side of Bullitt's Lick Run where the Shepherdsville and Key's Ferry Road crosses said run, thence up the run with it meanders 28 poles to three black walnuts from one root, and double honey locust on the east side of said Bullitt's Lick Run, then North 55° East 156 poles to a large beech tree marked as a line on Christian's upper line of his 1000 acre tract and division corner between Kinnison, Jones and said Congrove, thence with the original line of Christian's 1000 acres tract North 39° West 142 poles to a large black walnut stump, said to be the stump of one of the corner trees of Christian's northeast corner of said 1000 acre tract, thence with the line of the same South 55° West 302 1/2 poles to a stone in said line, thence South 32° 30' East 18 poles to a forked hickory near a run, thence South 56° West 20 3/4 poles to 2 pines, thence North 68 1/2° West 19 1/2 poles to a pine on the west side of said run, and said Christian's line, then with the same South 55° West 130 1/2 poles to the place of beginning, containing 640 acres, be the same more or less together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the land hereby conveyed with all the appurtenances on the said William P. Johnson, his heirs and assigns forever, and the said Kinnison and Jones and his wife for themselves, their heirs, executors and administrators, the aforesaid tract of land and appurtenances unto the said William P. Johnson, his heirs and assigns, against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons whatsoever, doth and will forever warrant and defend by these presents. In witness whereof the said A. C. Kinnison and Wiliam Jones together with Ann Jones his wife who hereby relinquishes her right of dower in and to the lands hereby conveyed in this deed hath hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first above written.
