On 2 May 1881, Emma T. Wilson sold two tracts to her brother Matthew E. Wilson, the first being that part of their deceased brother, John Fry Wilson's lands that had been allotted to their brother Upon Wilson, and then sold by him to Emma. The second tract was that part of John's land that had been allotted to Emma herself.

This indenture made and entered into the second day of May 1881, by and between Emma T. Wilson, of the first part, and Matthew E. Wilson of the second part, all of the county of Bullitt and state of Kentucky. Witness, for and in consideration of the sum of $3000 cash in hand paid, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, that said, Emma T. Wilson of the first part does hereby sell, transfer and convey unto the said Matthew E. Wilson, party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever with covenant of general warranty, the following described tracts of land situated in Bullitt county, Kentucky. The first tract bounded as follows.
Beginning at a stake in Shanklin's line and division corner to lot No. 2. Thence with Shanklin's line East 64 poles to a stake, division corner to lot No. 4. Thence North 87 1/2 poles to a stake in dividing line No. 1. Thence with the same West 64 poles to a stake, division corner to lot No. 2. Thence with the same South 87 1/2 poles to the beginning containing 35 acres; the same lot assigned to Upton Wilson in the division of the lands of John F. Wilson, known as lot No. 3, and afterwards sold by the said Upton Wilson to the Emma T. Wilson.
The second tract bounded as follows. Beginning at a stake on the East edge of the plank road, division corner to lot No. 1. Thence with the same East 36 poles to a stake, division corner to lot No. 3. Thence with the same South 87 1/2 poles to a stake in Shanklin's line, thence with the same West 70 poles to a stake at the forks of the Louisville Road. Thence with the same to the beginning containing 34 acres; the lot known as No. 2 and allotted to the said Emma T. Wilson in the division of the land of John F. Wilson.
