Because Verlinder Summers died before acknowledging this transaction, her dower's claim to it remained in force and descended to her children. To satisfy this requirement, a second deed was prepared in which these children deeded that claim to John B. Summers. We have included images of that second deed below. It was signed by G. W. Summers, Maria Jane Summers, Rufus K. Summers, Sidna A. Summers, Basil B. Summers, Elizabeth H. Summers, B. F. Summers, Leroy C. Summers, Samuel B. Summers, Mary V. Williams, Matthew Wilson, Martha T. Wilson, Joseph Saunders, Samuel C. Bealmear, Sarah E. Bealmear, James Y. Pope, Martha B. Pope, John B. Saunders, Mary V. Saunders, George W.
