The Bullitt County History Museum

Help Identify This Picture

We know that this picture was taken on the northwest corner of what is today Buckman Street and Joe B. Hall Ave (then Main Street and Second Street) in Shepherdsville. The two buildings clearly visible are still there. What we would like to know is (1) when the picture was taken; (2) who the man is in it; and (3) when the two buildings were constructed? If you can help us, please use our Contact Page and send us a message. Alternately, you can call the museum at 502-921-0161 and leave a message.

The automobile in this picture might help to date it. The "airplane" above the man's head is more likely a light hanging from a wire. Thanks for any help you can offer.
